AGD340 component obsolescence changes
This article outlines the components within the AGD340 that have been replaced as a result of obsolescence.
Issue 14 of the AGD340 CB206 processor board introduces replacement memory and LED parts plus an updated bootloader without changing speed measurement performance.

The new flash memory reports a different manufacturer identifier. Bootloader MI-099-2 permits the new identifier and then starts the main application. The accompanying BL-320 board change is a minor layout update.

Compatibility implications
- The changes do not alter the radar's intended function or speed measurement performance according to TAN49.
- Diagnostic systems must not depend on a unique value from the *VN command on revised processor boards.
- Use the approved MI-099-2 bootloader with the revised flash component.
- Record the board issue and firmware level whenever a board is replaced or a unit is recertified.
